Are you looking for the perfect one-day escape from Zadar? At Boat Tour Adriatic, we have designed a route that combines the thrill of a fast ride with the absolute serenity of the Adriatic's most beautiful bays.
Itinerary: The Adventure Begins
Our journey starts from the pre-arranged meeting point at Obala Kneza Branimira 18 in Zadar. Immediately upon boarding, we head toward the northern part of Dugi Otok.
Equipment Included: Throughout the tour, we provide snorkeling masks so you can fully explore the underwater world, swimming belts for extra safety and comfort, and a GoPro camera to capture all the incredible moments and scenery.
The Michelle Shipwreck: An Underwater World to Explore

Our first stop is near the Veli Rat lighthouse, in the Lagnići area. Here we stop for snorkeling, photography, and filming amidst the stunning scenes of the sunken Italian cargo ship Michelle.
About the Michelle: This Italian cargo ship ran aground in May 1983. The 76-meter-long wreck lies at a depth of only 6 meters, making it a perfect and easily accessible location for snorkeling. It has become a home to many fish and coral formations, offering a fascinating underwater sight.
Veli Rat Lighthouse: The Tallest on the Adriatic

After snorkeling at the wreck, we sail along the coast of Punta Bianca to admire the Veli Rat Lighthouse.
About Veli Rat Lighthouse: Built in 1849, this lighthouse stands 42 meters tall, making it the highest in the entire Adriatic. An interesting legend claims that about 100,000 egg yolks were used for the exterior yellow plaster, which remains durable to this day.
Sakarun Beach: The Croatian Caribbean
The next destination is the world-famous Sakarun beach, where we stop for swimming, snorkeling, exploring, and taking photos of this stunning location.
About Sakarun: This enchanting sandy bay, about 800 meters long, is famous for its extremely white sand and crystal-clear, shallow turquoise water that resembles the Caribbean. Surrounded by a thick pine forest providing natural shade, it is the ideal place for relaxation.
Brbišćica Bay, Dragon’s Eye, and Golubinka Cave

We sail further to the picturesque Brbišćica Bay, a location of special geomorphological significance.
Dragon’s Eye and Golubinka Cave: Here you will find the natural phenomena of the Dragon’s Eye (Zmajevo oko) and the Golubinka Cave. Golubinka is a fascinating sea cave that can be entered by swimming or snorkeling. These are ideal locations for underwater adventurers, and due to the play of light and sea colors, photography here is absolutely phenomenal.

Veli Žal: Another Hidden Gem
After Brbišćica, we cruise to Veli Žal, a location just as beautiful as Sakarun, featuring stunning pebbles and incredibly clear water.
Lunch Break and Relaxation
Next is a 90-minute lunch break at a local restaurant. The food is local and traditional, with moderate prices. If you prefer not to go to the restaurant, you are welcome to bring your own food on board.
Military Tunnels: A Touch of History

After the lunch break and some rest, we visit the secret military tunnels—massive structures carved into the rocks that once served as hideouts for warships and submarines.
After our final stop, we sail back to Zadar, filled with impressions and new memories.
